JOBFLOW FOR REMODELERS
Beautiful work.
Fewer loose ends.
The kitchen layout changes. The tile choice goes over allowance. Three trades need the current drawing. Keep the decisions and the dollars with the remodel.
Start with a scope you can follow.
A remodeling estimate is the beginning of a project record. Jobflow’s local workflow connects line items, quantities, unit costs, and markup to a versioned proposal. When a new-job proposal is approved, its customer, scope, and contract move into the job.
Keep drawing revisions with the project. Calibrated takeoff measurements retain their source, and copying quantities into an estimate is a review step. A later drawing should prompt a new look at the scope rather than erase how the first price was built.
Give every customer decision a place.
Record selection options and compare a choice with its allowance. An above-allowance selection can prepare a draft change for review; it does not silently increase the contract. Questions, answers, due dates, and drawing references stay with the job.
For trade work, compare bids against the same scope. See unanswered items, qualifications, and separate alternates. Preserve bid revisions and addenda so the award names the work and price being accepted.
Separate money spent from money committed.
A purchase order, vendor bill, and vendor payment describe different events. Jobflow’s local purchasing flow tracks partial bills and settlements while retaining the job’s cost context. Approved labor time can become labor cost, and approved changes adjust the contract.
Prepare invoices and record customer payments to follow the balance. Online payment collection, bank reconciliation, and live accounting integrations are not connected yet.
Jobflow is an early working preview. The described workflows are local; hosted customer access and paid plans are not yet available. See the product status before planning how you would use it in your business.
What to check before choosing remodeling software.
- Can you trace an estimate quantity to its drawing revision?
- Can a customer selection create a reviewed change without silently editing the contract?
- Can you compare a trade’s base bid, qualifications, and alternates separately?
- Can you see actual costs and remaining commitments without counting a payment twice?
- Can each person see the information they need, and can you export your records?
